1 Fyodor Dostoyevsky
Acrylic, watercolour and pencil on wood, 2011.
The Brothers Karamazov is a novel that captures it’s time, the human experience and ideals in a wonderful way - really the whole world world in one big book. The House of the Dead is a powerful depiction of tough times in a Siberian prison camp. Crime and Punishment - a pathological yet melodramatic examination of morality, perhaps a bit over-rated at the expense on his other more complex works.
